Beyond Noise

The second issue of Beyond Noise is now available.

Featuring covers including Julia Garner by Willy Vanderperre, Margaret Qualley by Gray Sorrenti, Nadia by Nadia Lee Cohen, Carla Sozzani by Paolo Roversi, Gigi Hadid by Larissa Hofmann, and Maria Hassabi by Richard Bush. Beyond Noise is a sustainable two-volume print magazine, housed in a slipcase, and includes “Carnival of Clutter,” a series of artworks by the artist Dinos Chapman. The issue opens with an urgent and inspiring manifesto, penned by CNN’s chief international correspondent Clarissa Ward, on the disproportionate effects of war and conflict upon women globally. There’s a feature on Mexico City’s sustainable agriculture, by way of floating gardens; a glimpse at American girlhood by Justine Kurland and Sabrina Santiago; essays by Afua Hirsch, Tish Weinstock, and Jazmine Hughes; a portfolio on the community of Lukla, the Nepali village that serves as the most common base camp for hopefuls climbing Everest; original works by Richard Misrach, Larissa Hofmann, Karim Sadli; and much more.
