Founded in 2009, Gutter is Scotland’s leading literary journal. Twice a year, in February and August, we publish a high-quality print magazine that features short stories, novel extracts, essays, poetry, interviews and reviews. The editors aim to showcase work by emerging and established writers from Scotland and beyond: work that will challenge, move and enliven our readers. Gutter is international in outlook, and we take pride in the diversity of our content and our contributors.
