Sight and Sound continues to celebrate the work of the greatest auteur directors in history by returning to our archives to revisit the cinema of the Belgian filmmaker Chantal Akerman, director of Jeanne Dielman, named the greatest film of all time by Sight and Sound voters in 2022.

 Alongside in-depth features, reviews and behind-the-scenes images of Akerman at work are new critical assessments of her films, interviews with her collaborators including Claire Atherton, Sonia Wieder-Atherton and Eric De Kuyper and writing by filmmakers Céline Sciamma and Lukas Dhont.
