Challenging the perceeived European aestheticism and dominance, Third Text is an international art journal with a unique perspective. Providing a critical forum for the discussion and appraisal of the work of artists that until now have been marginalised, it deals with a diversity of art practices - visual arts, photography, film. Third Text addresses the complex cultural realities that emerge when differing world views meet. Focusing particularly on the fields of art criticism, art history and cultural studies, Third Text evaluates a continuing global art phenomenon.
