Overview: Wallpaper* is a Time Inc. magazine focusing on travel, design, entertainment, fashion, and media. The magazine was launched in 1996 by Canadian journalist Tyler Brûlé in London, England. Brûlé sold the magazine to Time Warner in 1997. He stayed on as editorial director until 2002. 2007 has seen the appointment of a new editor-in-chief. Tony Chambers, a self styled “visual journalist”, aims to take the title to even greater heights of luxury. Apart from publishing the monthly magazine, Wallpaper* also publishes travel guide books. There are 60 different cities currently available, and 20 more will be published by spring 2009.
